Connect Codex CLI
Codex CLI can add Connect and start the sign-in flow with two commands.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Sign in to Connect and open the workspace Codex should use.
- In Connect, open Authorized apps, select Add an AI app, and choose Codex CLI.
- Copy the MCP URL shown in the dialog.
Add Connect
Section titled “Add Connect”Run this command in your terminal, replacing the placeholder with the MCP URL from Connect:
codex mcp add tactivus-connect --url 'PASTE_THE_MCP_URL_HERE' && codex mcp login tactivus-connectComplete the browser sign-in and choose the Connect workspace Codex should use. Start a new Codex session after sign-in if your current terminal session does not show the connection yet.
Use Connect
Section titled “Use Connect”Ask Codex about the companies in the workspace you selected. Review any proposed accounting change before approving it.
