Connect LibreChat
Use Connect in LibreChat after a LibreChat administrator has added the shared connection. Each person who uses it signs in to Connect with their own account and chooses their own workspace.
For LibreChat administrators
Section titled “For LibreChat administrators”Add Connect to your LibreChat shared configuration using your normal change and release process. Its MCP URL is:
mcpServers: connect: type: streamable-http url: https://connect.tactivus.com/mcpApply the configuration as required by your LibreChat deployment. LibreChat may need to be restarted before the new shared connection is available.
Sign in to Connect from LibreChat
Section titled “Sign in to Connect from LibreChat”- In LibreChat, select the Connect connection where your team makes AI tools available.
- Start its authenticate or connect action.
- In the Connect browser tab, sign in with your own account.
- Choose the workspace that should be available in LibreChat.
- Finish the approval screen and return to LibreChat.
Connect is ready when LibreChat shows the connection as authenticated or connected. The app then appears in Authorized apps for the workspace you selected.
If Connect is not available in LibreChat, ask your LibreChat administrator to add or enable the shared connection. Do not share a Connect sign-in link or one person’s access with another person.
Use a different workspace
Section titled “Use a different workspace”The workspace selected during sign-in is the workspace this LibreChat connection can use. Changing the workspace in the Connect dashboard does not move an existing LibreChat connection.
To use another workspace, disconnect the Connect connection in LibreChat, start it again, and choose the other workspace when Connect asks you to sign in. See Choose a workspace for an AI app and Disconnect and reconnect an AI app.
Choose a model for accounting work
Section titled “Choose a model for accounting work”LibreChat’s model list comes from its deployment and administrator settings. Ask your administrator for the highest-capability reasoning model available, and avoid the cheapest or fastest option as the default for multi-step accounting work.
