Add or switch QuickBooks companies
Use the Connect dashboard to add a QuickBooks company. Use your AI app to change which connected company it is working with.
Add another QuickBooks company
Section titled “Add another QuickBooks company”- In Connect, choose the workspace that should contain the company.
- Choose Connectors, then QuickBooks Online.
- Select Connect to QuickBooks.
- Sign in to QuickBooks and choose the company to add.
The company appears in the current workspace’s QuickBooks list. It does not appear in your other Connect workspaces unless you add it there.
Switch the company in an AI app
Section titled “Switch the company in an AI app”Start by asking the AI app which QuickBooks company it is using. If you need another one, ask it to show the QuickBooks companies available to you and choose the company by name.
For example: “Which QuickBooks company are you using?” followed by “Show the QuickBooks companies I can use.” Then ask it to switch to the company you want.
Some AI apps show a company picker. Others ask you to choose from a list in the conversation. In either case, confirm the company name before asking the app to review data or prepare changes.
If the company is missing, ask a workspace owner to connect it or give you access to it.
