Connect Gemini Spark
Gemini Spark lets eligible users add a custom app from the Gemini web app. The connection then appears in Spark on the web and in the Gemini mobile app.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need access to Gemini Spark.
- Google currently limits custom Spark apps by account, location, age, language, and activity settings. A personal Google Account and Keep Activity may be required; work and school accounts may not be eligible.
- In Connect, open Authorized apps, select Add an AI app, and choose Gemini Spark. Copy the MCP URL shown there.
Add Connect in Gemini
Section titled “Add Connect in Gemini”- On a computer, open gemini.google.com.
- At the bottom of the page, open Settings & help → Connected Apps. If Connected Apps is not listed, open Personal Intelligence → Connected Apps first.
- Under Custom apps for Spark, select Add a custom app.
- Paste the MCP URL and select Next.
- Follow the sign-in prompts and choose the Connect workspace that Gemini Spark should use.
Use Connect in Spark
Section titled “Use Connect in Spark”Open a Spark task on the web or in the Gemini mobile app. Use @ followed by the app name when you want Spark to use Connect. Review any confirmation before an action that changes accounting data.
